Until one becomes a pilot it is impossible to know the joy of exercising this great privilege. How often have we flown just for the thrill of our boundless freedom. What a joy to be a pilot. For no more than an excuse to soar with the eagles we set off for that $100 hamburger.

For those of us who wish to honor the teachings of Jesus Christ there is a thrill and privilege that transcends all. The joy of helping a clergyman get to a ministry location not served by the major airlines, or the honor of transporting a child and his parents for that life giving operation. How much better spent is our time and fuel on these endeavors.

God's CoPilots is not in itself a mercy flight organization. Rather this website provides links to volunteer organizations and encourages pilots to fly for Jesus. In addition to charitable flights through established organizations we encourage pilots to fly missions for their church.

You make a great personal and financial contribution when you fly for such wonderful organizations as Angel Flight and Pilots for Christ.

Your passengers appreciate your kindness giving you a wonderful opportunity to share with them your love for Jesus which compels you to love and help them.

Take this great opportunity and privilege with which God has blessed you to proclaim your faith in Jesus Christ.

In Moses day the sea was parted. In Jesus day the dead were raised. In our day you and I are God's miracles. If Christians worked together as one body each using our respective gifts and talents to help others for Jesus sake, the world would look upon Christianity with awe and respect. If we bear His name, we should give as He gave and serve as He served. Our Lord teaches, "He that would be great among you let him be your servant." "They will know we are His disciples by our love."

Jesus taught near the beginning of His ministry, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." Near the end of His earthly work He continued, "Inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these my brethren you have done it to me." Our philosophy is just that.

We are mercy pilots. That is our place as members of the body of Christ. Flying for Jesus sake. Therefore, though we are known as the PIC, God is not in second place. We are His copilots, serving in His name. Pilots are never asked their religious affiliation or church of membership. As Christians and members of His body, we work together as do the members of our own body regardless of denominational preference.
