God's CoPilots is made up of private pilots who love to fly. But even more so, we love to fly for Jesus Christ.
As noncommercial and nonprofessional pilots, we are not permitted by the FAA to accept any remuneration for our services.
We provide the aircraft, fuel, expertise and our time as pilots paying all of the expenses without any desire or expectation of personal gain.
It has been said that the definition of true love is:
| "expending yourself on behalf of another without requiring anything in return." |
|
Love is unselfishness. The opposite of love is selfishness.
God's CoPilots are unselfish souls willing to serve for Christ's sake.
Typical services God's CoPilots may voluntarily provide for church ministry are:
Flying those in ministry to their places of service. This may include:
- A pastor who needs transportation to a youth camp, or church for a special service.
- A missionary on furlough needing transportation from one church to another.
Often the airports accessible to light aircraft are much more convenient than the major hubs making private transportation far more practical, yet the cost of private transportation may be out of reach for a small church or a missionary.
The sick who can not afford such transportation to distant medical facilities.
Church members who would otherwise be unable to visit ailing relatives.
Medical flights to carry organs for patients in need.
Disabled veterans who have made the highest of sacrifices to bring us our freedom.
Charitable endeavors delivering workers, supplies or aid.

God's CoPilots is not a company or corporation. We are simply a collection of Christian volunteers. Therefore we do not collect funds or solicit your church or your members in any way.
God's CoPilots fly on behalf of the needy without respect of religion, race, or persons in any manner. Each pilot may join any number of mercy flight organizations, but because we believe the Church is how God has chosen to accomplish His work on this earth, many Christian pilots choose to individually support church ministry.
If you have a Christian pilot in your church you may wish to speak with them about flying volunteer flights on behalf of your church. It is this type of service God's CoPilots encourages in pilots.
How your church can help
Pray
Encourage Pilots To Fly For Jesus
The only support we wish, are your prayers and when possible the participation of volunteer pilots.
We appreciate clergymen who encourage pilots within their congregations to participate in mercy flights.
We also believe it is important for pilots to share their love for Jesus with their passengers. This is in keeping with the admonition, "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."
The focus of this website is obviously on pilots, but our desire is to encourage all Christians to be God's CoPilots.
In Moses day the sea was parted. In Jesus day the dead were raised. In our day you and I are God's miracles. If Christians worked together as one body each using our respective gifts and talents to help others for Jesus sake, the world would look upon Christianity with awe and respect. If we bear His name, we should give as He gave and serve as He served. Our Lord teaches, "They will know we are His disciples by our love."
